ULMA CZ - Profile & History
The company Ulma Construccion CZ, s.r.o. was founded in 1993 under its original name Bepatech, spol. s r.o. for rent and sale formwork and trench shoring systems in the Czech Republic. In the creation of company the several partners were involved. First, four individuals from the Czech and Slovak Republics, but also two foreign industrial partners - Italian company ALPI s.p.a. - as a supplier of formwork systems, and the German company Emunds & Staudinger - as a supplier of trench shoring systems. In the period 1993 - 2004 when the Czech Republic in general, there was an increase in construction output, the company was Bepatech, spol. s r.o. firmly anchored on the Czech market, particularly as a specialist of formwork and support systems in engineering construction and as a relatively strong player in the market of trench shoring systems. In 2004, ALPI s.p.a., acquired the shares from Emunds & Staudinger, and became the majority owner of the former company Bepatech, spol. s r.o.
In 2007 the Spanish company Ulma Construcción became 100% owner of ALPI s.p.a., subsequently resulted also the integration of company Bepatech, spol. s r.o. into multinational company Ulma Construcción. This change has brought the company Bepatech, spol. s r.o. not only the experience and background of one of the largest company in the field of temporary constructions, but especially in the product portfolio and eventually changed the name and seat of the Czech branch - in 2008 led to the great move. The branches in Prague and Liberec, with warehouses in Mladá Boleslav, Prague and Nová Hospoda were closed and everything has been moved to new headquarters in Benátky nad Jizerou. In 2009 led renaming the company former Bepatech, spol. s r.o. to the current name of Ulma Construccion CZ. Generally, the Ulam Construcción is a part Ulma Group that belongs to the MONDRAGON CORPORATION, which is the seventh largest company in Spain. The company Ulma Construccion operates in the field of temporary constructions since 1961 and has headquarters in the Basque city Oňati.
